The NFL is working with Nike and Adidas to help make the league’s socks a bit more affordable.
In the latest issue of Sports Illustrated, the league said the three companies would work with the league to introduce new and improved versions of the NFL’s traditional socks to make them more attractive to the average fan.
In addition to the standard, “gucci,” “Nike” and “Adidas” are the companies that will offer the new socks, which are expected to retail for $35 to $40 per pair.
The league also said it would partner with other retailers to help them develop new and creative ways to sell the socks, as well as to increase awareness of the new designs.
The NFL said the new models will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes, with a variety of colors and styles available.
